PSYCHOLOGICAL EVALUATIONS
Psychological Evaluations are used to gain insight into an individualē—“ cognitive and emotional functions. The testing process may also be used to diagnose learning disabilities, mental illnesses and in some cases, it is used to further the therapeutic process.  Dr. Street has extensive experience conducting diagnostic psychological evaluations for children, adolescents and adults.
 
 
  FAMILY MEDIATION AND SHARED PARENTING SUPPORT PROGRAM (SPSP)

THERAPY FOR ADULTS
Therapy is a process of moving forward; to assist clients in this process, Dr. Street employs Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). CBT is a highly effective therapeutic technique for individuals with various emotional challenges including depression and anxiety. It emphasizes the important role of thinking in how we feel and what we do. For clients who are experiencing other life challenges, individualized therapeutic techniques are used.
 
 

THERAPY FOR ADOLESCENTS

Adolescence can prove to be a challenging time.  Teens experiencing anxiety, phobias, OCD, depression, divorce, family stress, obedience/defiance, ADD, and adjustment often benefit from therapy. Dr. Street also works with teenagers and their families to resolve relationship and communication difficulties.
 

 

CLIENT'S BILL OF RIGHTS
As a therapy client, you have the right to:
Get respectful treatment that will be helpful to you.
Have a safe treatment setting, free from sexual, physical, and emotional abuse.
Report immoral and illegal behavior by a therapist.
Ask for and get information about the therapistē—“ qualifications, including his or her license, education, training, experience, membership in professional groups, special areas of practice, and limits on practice.
Have written information, before entering therapy, about fees, method of payment, insurance coverage, number of sessions the therapist thinks will be needed, substitute therapists (in cases of vacation and emergencies), and cancellation policies.
Refuse audio or video recording of sessions (but you may ask for it if you wish).
Refuse to answer any question or give any information you choose not to answer or give.
Know if your therapist will discuss your case with others (for instance, supervisors, consultants, or students).
Ask that the therapist inform you of your progress.
